Welcome to Julia's Reproductions Inc. We are a small
business creating reproductions of cross-stitch pieces from the
seventeen and eighteen hundreds. We are interested in keeping the
mistakes as part of our designs because the mistakes give the pieces
character and keep the authenticity of the original stitcher's ideas.
Researching the history of the antique samplers gives
us an insight into the stitcher. What was their life like, why they sat
down and took time out of their day to stitch this piece and who they
were. The act of holding something a hundred or more years old connects
us to the past. We have included with each chart as much information as
our research has discovered to date as well as a picture of the antique

The original samplers we have reproduced for Julia's
Reproductions, Inc.
are either in the private collections of the owner's of Julia's
Reproductions, Inc.
or in private collections where the owner has given us permission to
reproduce
their samplers.
